Hello! My name is Nakeida King, I’m 26 years old. I have 3 kids, all boys. I’m eagle clan, I’m from Christian Island, Beausoleil First Nation, but reside in London Ontario, Canada.
I’m a self taught artist, I taught myself to sew and do beadwork. I strived to make beautiful pieces for everyone. I also take custom orders. I ship from Canada to the USA (shipping & handling is on the customer). I started beading since March 2020 and just started sewing in February 2023. Beading and sewing is my medicine.
My grandfather was a residential school survivor and through that we lost a lot of our culture and beliefs, I grew up thinking that I was Bear Clan, but just recently found out that I am Eagle Clan but a bear sits beside me so I still need to feed the Bear and welcome the Eagle.
I'm in love. It's so soft, it fits perfectly, the comics are beautiful. You did an incredible job!
